Previously Senior General Manager of Vehicle Operations for Toyota New Zealand, Ross has more than 25 years experience with the automotive industry including periods with both Ford New Zealand and Toyota Australia. He has travelled extensively to Japan and Southeast Asia, observing the implementation of the Toyota Production System philosophies in both Toyota and their supplier operations throughout the region. Under his guidance Toyota New Zealand introduced the Toyota Production System concepts (Lean Thinking) to both its New Zealand assembly plants. Ross gained further experience developing these same concepts as Manufacturing Manager at both Precision Limited and Dux Industries Limited.
